LAUNDRESS / HOUSEKEEPER

Job Title: Laundress/Housekeeper

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with flexibility


Responsibilities:

  1. Laundry Management: Oversee all aspects of laundry care including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and organizing clothes, linens, and other fabrics.
  2. Housekeeping Support: Assist in general housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces as needed.
  3. Closet Organization: Maintain orderly closets and storage areas, ensuring clothes and linens are neatly arranged and easily accessible.
  4. Special Fabric Care: Handle delicate fabrics and specialty items with appropriate care and attention to detail.
  5. Collaboration: Work alongside other household staff to ensure seamless execution of tasks and responsibilities.
  6. Inventory Management: Keep track of laundry supplies and cleaning products, replenishing as necessary.
  7. Communication: Communicate effectively with other household staff members to coordinate schedules and tasks efficiently.


Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a private household setting.
  2. Proficiency in laundry care techniques, including knowledge of different fabric types and their respective care requirements.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining closets and storage spaces.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, coordinating efforts with other household staff.
  5. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate changing household needs.
  6. Respect for confidentiality and discretion within a private household environment.
  7. No driving required.
