Job Title: House Manager (Hands-On)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends
Responsibilities:
- Household Oversight: Oversee all aspects of household management, including coordinating and supervising housekeeping staff, maintenance personnel, and contractors.
- Hands-On Housekeeping: Take a proactive role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the residence, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces as needed.
- Inventory Control: Monitor household supplies and inventory, replenishing as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Schedule Coordination: Coordinate schedules for housekeeping staff, ensuring coverage for all necessary tasks and events.
- Event Planning and Execution: Assist in planning and executing household events, including coordinating catering, rentals, and other logistics as required.
- Budget Management: Assist in managing household budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and service providers, obtaining quotes, scheduling services, and ensuring satisfactory completion of work.
- Pet Care: Provide care for household pets, including feeding, grooming, and arranging veterinary appointments as needed.
- Staff Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of performance and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in household management, with hands-on experience in housekeeping roles.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of housekeeping staff.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the dynamic needs of the household, including availability for evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, vendors, and household members.
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and privacy of the residence.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if driving is required for errands or other household tasks).
