Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000 with full benefits

Position Summary:

A private, high-profile family is seeking an experienced and hands-on Domestic Couple to join their fully staffed residences in Nantucket, Washington, D.C., and Palm Beach. This is a live-in role with private accommodations provided. The ideal couple will be proactive, warm, professional, and flexible, with a strong work ethic and a team-player attitude. This is a long-term opportunity for a dedicated couple who can seamlessly integrate into a household and maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping & Household Care

  1. Detailed housekeeping and deep cleaning
  2. Daily upkeep and organization of all living spaces
  3. Laundry and ironing (attention to fine garments and linens)
  4. Daily house inspections to maintain high standards
  5. Plant care (indoor plants)

Culinary Duties
 6. All cooking responsibilities, including:

  • Preparing dinners, occasional lunches, and breakfast items
  • Following family-preferred recipes
  • Maintaining a clean, hygienic kitchen at all times
  • Full pantry and kitchen inventory management
  • Grocery shopping and light serving

Property & Exterior Maintenance
 7. Outdoor duties including:

  • Patio and pool area upkeep
  • Cleaning and setting up outdoor furniture
  • Power washing and seasonal setup/cleanup

8. Occasional heavy lifting in and around the home

9. Daily assurance that all household systems are functioning properly

10. Scheduling and overseeing any necessary maintenance or repairs

Logistics, Vendors & Driving
 11. Running errands
12. Supervision of outside vendors, contractors, and part-time housekeepers
13. Coordination with and support for other household staff
14. Valid driver's licenses required – occasional driving responsibilities


Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday schedule with 2 days off per week
  • One day per week as the sole staff member on duty
  • Flexibility required based on family needs and seasonal residence changes
  • Working in coordination with the current full-time household staff

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a domestic couple in a formal, private household
  • Legal to work in the U.S.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver’s licenses (both individuals)
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and professional
  • Friendly, warm, and service-oriented personalities
  • Must be comfortable living in and transitioning between multiple residences
