Job Title: Laundress/Housekeeper

Schedule: Monday to Friday with flexibility

Responsibilities:

1. Personal Care: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication reminders. Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
2. Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations, companionship activities, and recreational outings to promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Foster a supportive and friendly relationship with the client based on mutual respect and trust.
3. Travel Assistance: Accompany the client on trips, vacations, and outings, both domestically and internationally. Coordinate travel logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and itinerary planning. Ensure the client's safety and comfort during travel.
4. Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, tidying up, and organizing living spaces. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to the client's well-being.
5. Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional health. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care and adherence to medical recommendations.
6. Emotional Support: Provide empathetic and compassionate support to the client during challenging times, illness, or emotional distress. Offer encouragement, companionship, and a listening ear to promote emotional well-being.
7. Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment for the client by identifying and addressing potential hazards, implementing safety protocols, and being vigilant about personal and environmental safety.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, daily activities, medications administered, and any significant observations or incidents. Complete required documentation in a timely and thorough manner.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a caregiver, companion, or similar role, preferably with seniors or individuals with special needs.
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, rapport, and meaningful connections with clients and their families.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments, schedules, and travel requirements. Flexibility to accommodate varying needs and preferences.
• Knowledge of basic caregiving principles, personal care techniques, and safety protocols.
• CPR/First Aid certification and background in healthcare or caregiving training is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record for travel purposes.
• Willingness to undergo background checks, drug screenings, and health screenings as required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other caregivers, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
